1. Who we are
PlayDesk (playdesk.tools) is a GTA 6 launch-prep guide site. Contact: hello@playdesk.tools.
2. Information we collect
Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, your email goes to Formspree and then to the PlayDesk inbox at hello@playdesk.tools.
Checklist ticks. Checklist ticks are stored only in your browser (localStorage). We cannot see them.
Request logs. Cloudflare may log standard request data (IP address, browser, page) to run and secure the site.
Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics may inject a cookieless performance beacon. We do not use Google Analytics or ad trackers.
3. How we use it
We use waitlist emails to send launch-prep notes about this site to waitlist members. We use request data to operate and secure the site. We do not sell or rent personal information.
4. Third parties
Formspree handles the waitlist form.
Cloudflare provides hosting, security and analytics.
Pinterest receives the pins PlayDesk publishes to its own account through the Pinterest API. Pinterest's privacy policy governs its platform.
YouTube. The homepage can embed official Rockstar Games Trailer 2 from YouTube via youtube-nocookie.com. If you press play, YouTube may set cookies. We do not embed the age-restricted Extended Look.
Amazon. If you click an Amazon affiliate link, Amazon may set cookies and know that the click came from PlayDesk.
5. Pinterest publishing
The PlayDesk app (Pinterest App ID 1624282) has one user: the PlayDesk account owner, publishing to PlayDesk's own Pinterest account (pinterest.com/playdesktools). It calls the Pinterest API only to read and create PlayDesk's own boards and to create pins on them, using the scopes boards:read, boards:write, pins:read and pins:write. Every pin is individually selected and approved by the account owner before it is published. PlayDesk does not bulk or automatically post, and does not access, read or post to any other Pinterest account.
To publish, PlayDesk signs in once with Pinterest OAuth. The resulting access and refresh tokens are stored privately on a computer controlled by the account owner, with owner-only file permissions, and are used only to publish pins and to refresh that sign-in. PlayDesk does not store Pinterest passwords, and does not share or sell any Pinterest data.
Data deletion. The app stores no Pinterest user data, so there is no Pinterest user data to delete. OAuth tokens are deleted within 30 days of access being revoked.
To revoke access, remove the app in Pinterest Settings, then Apps. Questions: hello@playdesk.tools.
6. Cookies
The site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party cookies may be set only as noted above (YouTube if you press play, Amazon if you click an affiliate link).
7. Retention
Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Pinterest OAuth tokens are deleted within 30 days of access being revoked. Cloudflare logs follow Cloudflare's retention.
8. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time, or email hello@playdesk.tools to access or delete your data. We respond within 30 days. Clear site data in your browser to remove checklist ticks. To revoke Pinterest access, remove the app in Pinterest Settings, then Apps.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS everywhere. Pinterest tokens are stored with owner-only file permissions.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. GTA 6 is a Mature-rated game. We do not knowingly collect children's data and will delete it if we learn of any.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
