Do this

• If this is November 12, use the preload-night list first.
• Confirm the install finished. Do not launch a half download.
• Optional wired. Official: PS / Xbox.
• Vents clear. Official: PS / Xbox.
• Optional screenshots stay on the console. PlayDesk does not host clips. Official: PS / Xbox.
• Read free space in Settings. How. Plan from the 200 GB reserve.
• Pick a pad. Official GTA editions are DualSense only. No official Xbox GTA pad. Controllers.
• Display: use a port that supports HDMI 2.1 if the TV has one, and turn on Game Mode. Official: PS / Xbox. Cable search: Amazon. PlayDesk does not rank TVs.
• Optional audio. Official: Pulse / Xbox Wireless Headset. Search: Amazon.
• Optional chair or desk. Not required. PlayDesk does not pick a model.

What to ignore on night one

Leaked maps, money routes, and "do this first" videos. None of that is an official requirement.
